ABAQUS network licences at risk tomorrow early [12th Oct]

Category: IT Services. Submitted on October 11th, 2017 at 12:17:00

This SNS is for the attention of IT staff including colleagues in the Support Centre and in Field Support. It concerns network licences for the finite element analysis engineering package ABAQUS.

Early tomorrow morning, Thursday 12th October, at around 0700h, I propose to install additional ABAQUS/CAE licences which are needed for semester 1 classes starting on Monday. The work is expected to take around 5 minutes and to be transparent to running clients, which should nevertheless be considered briefly at risk.

If this will cause you a problem, please contact me directly.

Sincerely,
David Buckley

This SNS is a follow-up to the message yesterday regarding adding additional ABAQUS licences to the licence farm. Due to my error the installation did not go ahead as schedule this morning, and I propose to now install the additional licences at the same time tomorrow morning 13 October. Apologies for the inconvenience.

    Sincerely,
